History
Turning Tables Germany was initiated in the summer of 2017 and legally founded and registered as a non-profit shareholder company in June 2018.
We are affiliated with Turning Tables, an international non-profit organisation initially established in Lebanon in 2009 by Martin Fernando Jakobsen and the Danish band Den Sorte Skole. Today, Turning Tables is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark and comprises a global network of independently operating country offices in Denmark, Sweden, Lebanon, Jordan, Kenya, Myanmar, Colombia and Germany.
The Turntable lab was developed in partnership with the Danish Center for Maritime Architecture. The space for a sustainable and scaleable solution for youth has been refined and is now implemented by our CSR partner Arcgency Architecture Copenhagen.
